BRADFIELD VENTURES HISTORY
Bradfield Venture’s real estate lineage dates to 1911 with roots in both Dallas and Austin beginning with William Bradfield, a founder of Southern Methodist University and helped develop Highland Park.
Landon Bradfield (William’s Son) moved to Austin & entered into real estate with his father-in-law, Tom Walling, in the 1920’s and, under the firm Walling-Bradfield-Brush, developed Pemberton Heights.
Their development of Pemberton Heights ranked with two other Texas projects – Highland Park in Dallas and River Oaks in Hoston. Other subdivisions developed by the partnership at the time included Wilshire Wood, Vance Park, and Sleepy Hollow on Lake Austin.
In 1970 Tom Bradfield, in partnership with his father Landon Bradfield was instrumental in the development of MoPac. Known at the time as Bradfield-Cummins, Inc. the firm developed North and South MoPac as well as Barton Skyway. The office market transpires as one of the most dynamic in the state. Notable office projects include Barton Oaks Plaza I-V, Barton Skyway I-II, & Spyglass I-II; the company also developed subdivisions of Highland Hills and Foothills Parkway.
BRADFIELD HEISER, FOUNDING PRINCIPAL BV

Bradfield is the founder of Bradfield Ventures which he started in 2019. Bradfield Ventures has sourced over $275 MM in development from conception to date focused on the Austin and San Antonio markets.
Prior to starting Bradfield Ventures, Bradfield worked at Heiser Development and was responsible for development, acquisitions, and capital markets. Bradfield developed and acquired over $100 MM in assets and earned an average rate of return of 20% backed by Multifamily and Condominiums.
Prior to joining Heiser Development Bradfield was Senior Associate at Prescott Realty Group, where he was responsible for oversight of Project Management on the $185 MM historic Stoneleigh Hotel renovation.
Before joining Prescott, Bradfield was an associate at UBS Global Real Estate, in Dallas, where he headed the Southwest region’s underwriting team. Mr. Heiser built the India platform with the London office where UBS successfully invested $850 Million.
Before UBS Mr. Heiser worked at Goldman Sachs Real Estate, in Dallas, where he worked with portfolio management for Goldman successfully invested $550 Million.
Bradfield graduated from The University of Texas at Austin he was awarded his Bachelor’s degree in finance and Masters in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University, he is also a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) in Dallas, the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Board Member of MD Anderson, Founding Board member of the CK Youth Organization, and holds a Texas Real Estate Brokerage License.
